More than 50 secondary schools from Switzerland, the UK, the USA, Canada, Spain and Italy are taking part in the Open Doors to Secondary Education Abroad expo in Sofia.

According to the official statistics, 40% of the Bulgarian youth leave on a scholarship to study at foreign secondary schools. This number has risen by 30% on last year.

In 2011 30% of the Bulgarian students who leave are over 12 years of age.
