MPs of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) and Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) are still refusing to take part in the work of the parliament until the government calls a session to discuss the situation in northern Kosovo-Metohija, the parties' officials released on Monday.

Following the parliament collegium, Jorgovanka Tabakovic of the SNS, Cedomir Jovanovic of the LDP and Milos Aligrudic of the DSS told reporters in the parliament that participants at the meeting with the ruling coalition failed to reach an agreement on the session about the crisis in northern Kosovo-Metohija and that this is the reason why they cannot take part in the work of the parliament.

According to them, representatives of the ruling coalition promised that they would contact members of the Serbian government within the next few hours and communicate to them the requests of the opposition.
