The executive committee of the POE-OTA Federation decided on Friday evening to end the strike of municipality employees and work crews, according to the Federation, will begin collecting rubbish as of Friday night, according to the shift or on Saturday morning at the latest.

Immediately afterwards, POE-OTA representatives met with Interior Minister Haris Kastanidis who committed himself to ending the mobilisation of strikers in the cleanliness sector of municipalities and the issue of the withdrawal of riot police from the Ano Liossia landfill.
