"Open Day" in Batajnica

As part of the promotion of the Serbian Army and its operational capacities, an "Open Day" was held yesterday at Batajnica airport, where people were able to see the equipment and resources available to Air Force and Anti-Aircraft Command, as well as to observe a mini aero-rally.

The "Open Day" was attended by Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac, who announced similar actions in all military barracks of the Serbian Army during April.
Sutanovac said that the "Open Day" in Batajnica is a kind introduction to the celebration of 100 years of aviation in Serbia.
He announced that the largest aero-rally ever organised in the country is to be held in early September.
The visitors could see the helicopter "Gazelle" and Mi-17 as well as the planes "Supergaleb G-4", MiG-21 and MiG-29.
