It is a provocation to form the Kosovo Government's Administrative Office for the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, and an attempt to change the situation on the eve of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, State Secretary of the Ministry for Kosovo and Metohija Oliver Ivanovic stated.

There will be no special reaction from the Serbian government, especially not in this situation, except to condemn and qualify this act as a flagrant provocation, with the aim not to calm down the situation, but to upset the Serbian population and create a situation where incidents will be possible, Ivanovic told the Beta Agency.

He assessed that the Serbs in Kosovo will not accept such offices and that their founding is an attempt to change the situation in the field ahead of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue which is, Ivanovic emphasized, more than certain.

The forming of this office cannot change a starting position of the Serbs in northern Kosovo or the position of the future Serbian Government in the negotiations with Pristina, Ivanovic said.
