IMF completes final review under its stand-by arrangement with Serbia

The completion of the review enables the immediate disbursement of about EUR 350 million or USD 509 million, although the Serbian authorities have indicated that they intend to purchase only about EUR 51 million or USD 74 million, or 10 percent of the country's IMF quota.

Tadic to visit Kuwait Sunday

Serbian President Boris Tadic will on Sunday begin a two-day official visit to Kuwait, where he will meet with country's top officials and discuss improving bilateral cooperation, which is characterized by very good political relations but a very modest volume of trade.

Serbia and Kuwait to sign agreement on defense cooperation

Serbian Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac said Saturday that Serbia will sign an agreement on defense cooperation with Kuwait, as part of the visit of a Serbian state delegation to that country on April 10-11.

Private plane crashes in Mrcajevci, unofficial four persons killed

According to early reports, four persons were killed in a plane crash which occurred in Mrcajevci, near Cacak in central Serbia, on Sunday some time around 2 p.m., spokeswoman of the Cacak police department Biljana Nastic told Tanjug.
