Russia will be permanently on daylight savings time when they set their clocks ahead one hour early on Sunday under a decree from President Dmitry Medvedev.
Medvedev announced in February that Russians would not put their clocks back this autumn, saying that the change from daylight saving time caused "stress and illness" and "disturbs the human biorhythm."
Interim government in Russia introduced the summer time back in July, 1917.
