In Bulgaria and Romania, even the promotional interests on consumer and mortgage loans valid for limited periods are still with much higher expenses.
Loans in euro in Romania are the second most expensive ones in EU after the ones in Bulgaria. In September, the average annual interest on mortgage loans in euro was 9.38 per cent in Bulgaria and 6.7 per cent in Romania.
