The Fourth Session of the Southeastern Europe Climate Outlook Forum – SEECOF - 4 for winter 2010/2011 will be held from 22 to 26 November in Belgrade at the conference hall of the Prestige hotel, Bulevar Vojvode Misica 24.

The Fourth Session of the Southeastern Europe Climate Outlook Forum – SEECOF - 4 for winter 2010/2011 will be held from 22 to 26 November in Belgrade at the conference hall of the Prestige hotel, Bulevar Vojvode Misica 24.

The work of this forum is divided into two parts - the first lasting from 22 to 24 November and is aimed at training professionals who deal with seasonal climate forecasts, while the second part, from 25 to 26 November, aims to gather meteorological experts and all end users who will share their experience in the usage and demand for seasonal weather forecasts.

The second part of the meeting will be opened by Assistant Minister for Roads and Traffic Safety in the Ministry of Infrastructure Pavle Galic at 9.00 on 25 November.

In addition to representatives of state authorities, the second part of the forum will be attended by representatives of many users of meteorological and hydrological information from different economic and social sectors in the region.

This forum, held with the support of the World Meteorological Organisation and the European Commission, is part of the project for reduction of risk of natural disasters (DRR /SEE) in the countries of Southeastern Europe that are candidates or potential candidates for EU membership.

The Fourth forum will bring together representatives of the World Meteorological Organisation, experts of national meteorological services from 15 countries of Southeastern Europe and the Caucasus region, as well as experts from the leading meteorological centres in Europe and America.
