Six charter flights from Spain, Bulgaria, Turkey and Portugal are expected ahead of the New Years celebrations, the Dubrovnik Tourist Board says.
Some 15,600 guests visited Dubrovnik this November, a 50 per cent increase compared to the same month last year.
The increase in numbers is primarily the result of the organized arrivals of guests from Turkey, the portal Dalje writes.
The first December weekend will be marked by the arrival of more than 700 Spanish guests coming through Travel Europe, Kompas and Atlas agencies.
In addition to an excursion-filled schedule, the guests will also have an opportunity to visit a Christmas market where they will be able to try traditional sweets and souvenirs.
