BSE to float shares on Jan 6

The stock will be floated on BSE's A segment of the unofficial equity market at a starting price of BGN 1.0 in the first trading session.

The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) will launch for trade it shares on January 6, 2011, the operator said in a statement.

The stock will be floated on BSE's A segment of the unofficial equity market at a starting price of BGN 1.0 in the first trading session.

The bourse will issue stock worth a total BGN 6.58 million under the symbol BSO.

The stock exchange operator decided to go public in September, when the majority of its stakeholders voted in favour of a capital increase which allowed the Finance Ministry to raise its stake in the operator to 50% plus one share from 44%.
