Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Thursday welcomed the news that Serbian judicial authorities had dropped criminal proceedings against Croatian war veteran Tihomir Purda, due to a lack of evidence.

"We will work so that such events never again happen," Kosor told reporters after her meeting with the European Commissioner for Justice, Viviane Reding, in Zagreb.
