The EU wishes for dialog and partner relations with all factor in Bosnia-Herzegovina, with the goal of establishing stability and continuing the process of European integrations of that country, concluded Lajcak.

The official of the EU Directorate of Foreign Affairs Miroslav Lajcak has had talks with Republic of Srpska President Milorad Dodik, and stated afterwards that he has not asked for the withdrawal of the decision to hold a referendum, in which the citizens of the Republic of Srpska should vote on the work of the Court and Prosecution of Bosnia-Herzegovina, i.e. the legitimacy of the acts imposed by High Representative of the international community.

While saying that the potential cancellation of that decision is not in his competence, but rather that of the High Representative Office, Lajcak has pointed that the goal of his visit is the soonest possible overcoming of the block in forming the central Government, since no country can function without the ruling cabinet.

He has added that all media allegations of the potential sanctions towards the Republic of Srpska are just ungrounded speculations, and emphasized that new conflicts would suit nobody.
