Two persons have been killed in a small airplane crash at the Zvekovac sport airport near Zagreb, Croatia, the Zagreb police has released.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, and the investigation team arrived at scene of the accident, the Croatian media reported. According to preliminary information, there were two people on the plane and they were both killed.

Another injured victim is a man who witnessed the plane crash and rushed to rescue, at which point the plane exploded.
