Fire sweeps over Sisak refinery

According to media reports, the fire broke out on the pipes connecting the facilities in the refinery and firemen are using all available capacities in an attempt to localise the fire and prevent it from spreading to other facilities.

A large-scale fire swept over the oil refinery in Sisak on Monday.

According to media reports, the fire broke out on the pipes connecting the facilities in the refinery and firemen are using all available capacities in an attempt to localise the fire and prevent it from spreading to other facilities.

So far, nobody has been injured and there are no consequences to the environment, Croatian oil company INA reported.
