Tehnoma 2011 at Skopje Fair

The 37. International Fair of Metallurgy, Electronics, Energy, Non-Metals and Construction "Tehnoma", presenting 900 exhibitors from Macedonia and abroad, opens at Skopje Fair on Tuesday.

The 37. International Fair of Metallurgy, Electronics, Energy, Non-Metals and Construction "Tehnoma", presenting 900 exhibitors from Macedonia and abroad, opens at Skopje Fair on Tuesday.

Forty percent of this year's exhibitors at Tehnoma (October 18-22) are foreign companies. The event includes a group performance of more than 40 Italian companies, mainly SMEs, dubbed "EcoBizExpo".

Moreover, 25 companies from Slovenia and 25 more from Greece will also have group performances at this year's fair, which focuses on renewable energy sources.

Roundtable on topic "Energy Challenges, Current Conditions and Banking" is held today, followed by company presentations and international broker event – Tehno Meetings 2011.

Panel debate "Procedures, Examples and Good Practices in Renewable Energy Sources Investment" and roundtable "Indicators for Measuring Success of Cluster Operations in the Republic of Macedonia" are on Wednesday's program, whereas workshop on opportunities and difficulties for SMEs when applying to EU calls for proposals and tenders with projects in the field of eco-energy and technical-technological systems will be held on Thursday.

Slovenian company "M-Lan Solar", which built and opened the first solar power plant, placed on the roof of the Skopje Fair administrative building, is the exhibition partner.

Moreover, Tehnoma includes events "Makinova 2011" and "Econova" 2011", which bring together innovators from Macedonia, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Serbia, Egypt, Iran, Ukraine, Taiwan etc.
