Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his spouse Liri Berisha visited today by noon “Buy Albanian” Fair organized by the Municipality of Tirana in the framework of activities on occasion of November 28.
PM Berisha visited the numerous stands of the fair and together with his spouse bought different domestic products, food products and handicrafts. “Buy Albanian, -emphasized the prime minister, -is the best buy as no product has more taste than what is produced in this land”. He said he tried not to use imported food in his family dinner table.
PM Berisha appreciated the fact that the fair also proudly displayed the greatest spiritual wealth of the Albanians, but even the taste of the domestic products.
Likewise, PM Berisha positively assessed the initiative of Municipality of Tirana to promote the Albanian products and also congratulated on the November 28 Day.
The fair displayed gastronomic delights of Albania and also handicrafts like fancywork, carpets, statuettes, alabaster and filigree works.
Speaking to reporters, PM Berisha said:
“It was one of the best fairs I have visited with Albanian gastronomic delights and the best handicrafts like fancywork, carpets, statuettes, alabaster and filigree works. The fair also proudly displayed the greatest spiritual wealth of the Albanians, but even the taste of the domestic products.
I would like to congratulate Municipality of Tirana for adding the fair to the celebration events marking November 28. I take the opportunity to congratulate all Albanians on the Independence and Liberation Day. On this anniversary we announce that about 4 million Albanian citizens have moved in and out of Albania celebrating the remarkable achievement of visa-free travel. It’s the first year the citizens of Albania moved freely and easily over the Schengen space like their prime minister and president. Let’s hope to celebrate the 100-th anniversary even better, more prosperous and closer to our national ideals.”
