Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic evaluated as rather positive that the resolution adopted by the UN GA was practically adopted with the consensus of all U.N. member states.

"The resolution is certainly not an ideal one, because it would have been better for Serbia if its draft was adopted," Dacic told after the signing of an agreement with department ministers Snezana Malovic and Diana Dragutinovic.

According to him, since international politics is not only a set of nice wishes but a real balance of power in the world, Serbia opted for a compromise avoiding going below the red lines that are important for us.

He also said that the resolution itself does not define the topics of the dialogue, adding that the adoption of the resolution did not solve the problem, which, he believes, cannot be resolved at that level.
