Kosovo encourages US investments

In order to encourage US investment in Kosovo, the Kosovo Ministry of Energy and Mines plans an investment promotion conference for the energy sector in October of this year.

In order to encourage US investment in Kosovo, the Kosovo Ministry of Energy and Mines plans an investment promotion conference for the energy sector in October of this year.

The plan was announced by the Kosovo Energy Minister Justina Shiroka-Pula after the meeting with Congressmen Tim Holden and Christopher Carney in Washington.

Shiroka-Pula invited US investors and other countries to participate in the privatization of energy sector in Kosovo.

The minister said that Kosovo has adopted advanced legislation in order to create better conditions for investments in the energy sector.

US congressmen promised greater support for US investors in Kosovo by the US institutions, including the Department of State.

Kosovo is currently in the process of privatizing the energy sector.
