Dan Shomon, past council and assistant to US president, Barack Obama, visited Megatrend University on Wednesday 6th October 2010. Mr Shomon held a lecture on the topic „Barack Obama I Know”, in crowded amphitheatre in university building in Goce Delceva Street.

Following the introductory words by Prof. Mica Jovanovic, PhD, rector of the university, Mr. Shomon thanked for invitation and presented the development of political career of Barack Obama until he became a president of the US.

Mr. Shomon also turned to relations between Serbia and America, marking their development as positive. H.E. Vladimir Petrovic, ambassador of Serbia in the US was also present at the lecture.

Moreover, Mr. Dan Shomon has a successful and rich career, with over 23 years of professional experience in state affairs (national and international), political marketing, public relations, journalism and in high post in the US Senate.

He is also known as a manager and political director of campaigns of Barack Obama, who is also responsible for successful marketing of American president.
