Euromoney conference to be held in Belgrade

The Belgrade meeting will focus on the economic crisis in the region and Eurozone, the situation in the banking sector, management of companies at the time of crisis, and a roundtable discussion on regional countries will also be held. More than 300 participants from some twenty countries are expected to take part in the conference.

The Euromoney Finance & Investment Conference for South Eastern Europe will be held in Belgrade on October 19-20, the conference organizer announced. The conference will be held at the Hotel Continental (Hall Atlantic / Pacific), Vladimira Popovica 10.

The Belgrade meeting will focus on the economic crisis in the region and Eurozone, the situation in the banking sector, management of companies at the time of crisis, and a roundtable discussion on regional countries will also be held.

More than 300 participants from some twenty countries are expected to take part in the conference.

Conference Manager Francesca Rabl told BETA news agency that Belgrade was selected as the venue of this year's conference because of the interest investors and financiers had shown for Serbia

Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic will open a two-day conference on finance and investment in Southeast Europe organised by Euromoney magazine at 9.00 on 19 October.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic will speak at 9.45 in the first panel entitled "Response to crisis".

At 12.20 Minister of Finance Diana Dragutinovic will address the panel on the role of banks.
