The paper reports that Shpend Maxhuni is expected to be appointed Kosovo Police director as he has received more points from the Senior Appointments Commission.

The paper reports that Shpend Maxhuni is expected to be appointed Kosovo Police director as he has received more points from the Senior Appointments Commission.

The appointment of the police director is made by Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi following recommendation from Interior Minister Bajram Rexhepi.

The paper quotes sources saying Rexhepi did recommend Maxhuni for the post. Maxhuni is currently deputy director for operations in the Kosovo Police.
