The Serbian government and the Mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have agreed to resume talks within the sixth audit stand-by arrangement that our country has with this financial institution.
The Serbian government and the Mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have agreed to resume talks within the sixth audit stand-by arrangement that our country has with this financial institution.
The themes of discussion were revision of this year's budget, the 2011 budget as well as amendments to the Law on pension and disability insurance.
A framework for the budget revision of the 2010 budget as well as basic indicators for next year’s budget have been agreed on with the IMF.
The deficit in the 2011 budget will be only 4% of GDP, which is in line with the recently adopted amendments to the Law on the budget system.
As for amendments to the Law on pension and disability insurance, the Bill will be forwarded to MPs within a few weeks
