Following a delivery of the remains of three persons at the Merdare administrative line, who were kidnapped in the province, Odalovic told the Beta news agency that no one has been brought to justice for the killings and kidnappings of Serbs in the province.
President of the Committee for Missing Persons Veljko Odalovic stated today that the families of kidnapped and missing Serbs from Kosovo-Metohija have so far retrieved 325 bodies.
Following a delivery of the remains of three persons at the Merdare administrative line, who were kidnapped in the province, Odalovic told the Beta news agency that no one has been brought to justice for the killings and kidnappings of Serbs in the province.
The remains of three persons kidnapped in Metohija were delivered to their families today. They were killed in different times and this fact confirms that crimes in Kosovo-Metohija were continuously carried out, Odalovic noted.
He expressed his hope that the Report of the Council of Europe rapporteur Dick Marty will help to initiate an investigation and resolve the fate of missing persons in Kosovo-Metohija.
Today the families were handed over the remains of Veljko Markovic, who was kidnapped in February 1999, Zivota Todorovic, who was reported missing during the 1999 NATO bombing, and Zarko Perovic, who was kidnapped after the arrival of the international mission in Kosovo-Metohija in June 1999.
