The head of the EU delegation in Serbia, Vincent Degert, presented a new two-year EU project Support to Civilian Society, during which EUR 4 million will be allotted to civil society organizations in Serbia.

He told a press conference that March 10 was the deadline for the submission of draft projects, which competition was scheduled on December 9, and added each selected project would be worth between EUR 50,000 and EUR 150,000.

With a new public competition for support to the civilian sector we are entering deeper into the European integration process, but we are also trying to address some critical points in the development of civilian society, added Degert.
