Members of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom Parliament have ratified the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between the European Union and Serbia.
Members of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom Parliament have ratified the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between the European Union and Serbia.
SAA was ratified by the House of Commons on March 1 and by the House of Lords on February 15, UK Parliament sources told Tanjug Thursday.
SAA will be formaly ratified once the Queen signs a relevant decree.
The UK is the 14th country which has ratified SAA with Serbia.
The approval of all 27 EU member states is necessary for the agreement to go into effect.
SAA has been ratified so far by Spain, Malta, Bulgaria, Italy, Estonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Luxemburg, Hungary, Austria, Cyprus, Greece and Germany.
