Malovic to attend regional conference of ministers of justice, interior

 Minister of Justice Snezana Malovic will participate in a two-day conference of ministers of justice and the interior of southeastern Europe "Strengthening cooperation in fight against organised crime in southeastern Europe" to be held in Montenegro on 17-18 March.

 Minister of Justice Snezana Malovic will participate in a two-day conference of ministers of justice and the interior of southeastern Europe "Strengthening cooperation in fight against organised crime in southeastern Europe" to be held in Montenegro on 17-18 March.

A statement by the Ministry of Justice reads that at this meeting Malovic will talk about the importance of cooperation among the countries of the region in the fight against organised crime and will present results Serbia has achieved in this field.

On this occasion, the Minister will emphasize the need for improvement of information exchange and coordination of policies of the countries of the region on organised crime.

She will highlight the fact that the challenges of organised crime cannot be addressed successfully at the national level if they are not accompanied by a comprehensive action of the countries in the region and that therefore it is necessary to take concrete steps at the regional level.

The regional conference of ministers of justice and the interior of southeastern Europe is being organised by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of the Interior of Montenegro, in association with the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, it is added in the statement.
