Until April 5 this year, 109 TV channels, 213 radio channels and 578 newspapers have been registered in Serbia, the Serbian Business Registers Agency published on its website.

Until April 5 this year, 109 TV channels, 213 radio channels and 578 newspapers have been registered in Serbia, the Serbian Business Registers Agency published on its website.

The Public Media Register consists of 104 public media's online services, 7 other media which transmit their contents using words, images or sound.

As regards the newspapers classified according to the frequency of their issuing, Serbia has 20 registered dailies, 92 weeklies, 217 monthly and 43 semi-monthly newspapers, 78 newspapers that are issued once in two months, 83 published once in three months, 10 semi-annual and 18 annual newspapers, and 17 newspapers which do not belong to any of these categories.


The total number of entries of the Public Media Register equals 1031.
