The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Serbia will mark its 10th anniversary on Monday with a conference on the past 10 years of partnership between Serbia and the OSCE.
The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Serbia will mark its 10th anniversary on Monday with a conference on the past 10 years of partnership between Serbia and the OSCE.
The conference will be attended by a number of Serbian and foreign officials, including former heads of the mission. The event will consist of several panel discussions, which will focus on Serbia's transition, police and judiciary reforms, media freedom and human rights.
The meeting will be opened by Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut and Chairman of the OSCE Permanent Council Renatas Norkus.
Norkus, de Brichambaut, Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia Dimitrios Kypreos and head of the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence Sonja Liht will hold a news conference.
The participants will include Serbia's Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic, Minister of Human and Minority Rights Milan Markovic, parliament member Riza Haljimi, European Commission Deputy Director General for External Relations Stefano Sannino, OSCE coordinator for economic and environment issues Goran Stevanovic and Deputy War Crimes Prosecutor Bruno Vekaric.
