Defence ministries of Serbia and Egypt signed a plan for military cooperation for 2011 during the visit of the delegation of Serbian Defence Ministry to that country, that ministry released on its website on Thursday.

The Serbian delegation, headed by State Secretary Zoran Jeftic, paid a visit to Egypt from May 16-19, where it had talks with Assistant to the Minister of Defence Major General Mohammad al-Assar, and senior officials of the operative and armament sectors at the Egyptian Ministry of Defence.

Both parties expressed satisfaction over the close cooperation that was established in the domain of defence up to now, the Serbian Ministry of Defence noted.
