President Gjorge Ivanov discussed the opportunities for investing in Macedonia with entrepreneurs from the German federal state of Bavaria in Bad Wörishofen on Friday.

President Gjorge Ivanov discussed the opportunities for investing in Macedonia with entrepreneurs from the German federal state of Bavaria in Bad Wörishofen on Friday.

The meeting was held in the course of Ivanov's visit to Bavaria where he is to attend the annual conference of the Paneuropean Union.

Representatives of the German chambers of commerce from the aviation and textile industry, tourism, private education and other at the meeting expressed interest into the benefits from investing in Macedonia.

Bavaria has one of the most developed economies in Germany with many industrial giants, such as BMW, Audi and other leading companies having established their headquarters there.

Later, President Ivanov is due to meet with the Prince of Liechtenstein Hans-Adam II and attend the opening the the Paneuropean Union summit.

The Paneuropean Union is the oldest European unification organisation. It was founded in 1923 as a movement advocating great and united Europe, unity, peace and progress. Paneuropean Union members are strong supporters of Macedonia and its European perspectives.
