Dinar continues to grow against euro, NBS begins buying strong currency

The Serbian dinar will continue to grow stronger against the euro for the fourth consecutive day on Friday, going up by RSD 0.54 or by 0,54 percent and thus setting the middle official exchange rate at RSD 97.06071 per euro, the national Bank of Serbia (NBS) said in a release.

This will be the domestic currency's new record high in the current year.
The NBS said on Thursday that it planned to buy up to EUR 40 million in the interbank foreign exchange market in the next 20 days and began buying the foreign currency on the same day.
