SZOKIM warns head of the Belgrade negotiating team Borko Stefanovic that signing any deal at the expense of Serbian statehood, sovereignty and integrity would constitute a criminal offense under Article 304 of the Serbian Criminal Code, in which case it will be forced to press charges.
Delegates of the Assembly of the Association of Kosovo and Metohija Municipalities (SZOKIM) asked at their Monday session that the Serbian parliament take a position on the talks between Belgrade and Pristina in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
SZOKIM delegates believe that the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina were imposed on Serbia by the US and the EU and that they are consequently controlling the talks.
This primarily refers to the so-called freedom of movement through Serbia with documents and license plates issued by the self-proclaimed state of Kosovo and recognition of customs administration and courts of the separatist creation, according to the conclusions adopted at the SZOKIM session.
SZOKIM demands that Belgrade does not make concessions over Kosovo and Metohija in order to get candidate status for EU membership.
The request of the European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso for a census of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija is unacceptable to the Serbs, SZOKIM said.
The same applies to the blackmail by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz on Ischinger's plan for Kosovo and Metohija based on the two Germanies model, which constitutes another proof that Serbia's EU accession is interwoven with concessions regarding recognition of Kosovo's independence, SZOKIM said.
It is also estimated that the statements of Ivica Dacic on partitioning Kosovo are unconstitutional, and Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija expect the national public prosecutor to take legal measures against him, especially since he is a Serbian deputy prime minister who was sworn in in the Serbian parliament to protect its integrity, SZOKIM said.
SZOKIM also condemned the arrest of innocent citizens by EULEX in Zubin Potok, whose only sin was that they did not pay taxes to the false state of Kosovo.
