Vekaric: Mladic questioned as witness in investigation

Serbia's Deputy War Crimes Prosecutor Bruno Vekaric told Tanjug that International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) indictee Ratko Mladic will be questioned again on Monday, this time as a witness in the investigations into crimes against Serbs during the civil war in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH).
Serbia's Deputy War Crimes Prosecutor Bruno Vekaric told Tanjug that International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) indictee Ratko Mladic will be questioned again on Monday, this time as a witness in the investigations into crimes against Serbs during the civil war in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH).
"Mladic should be questioned by Deputy Prosecutor Dragoljub Stankovic and myself, in the presence of an investigative judge, who first needs to approve this motion," Vekaric said.
According to him, Mladic has said he is willing to testify. He should be interviewed in relation with the investigations into crimes against Serbs in BiH which were allegedly headed by Naser Oric, as well as the crimes which preceded that crimes against Muslims in BiH.
Mladic is awaiting extradition in custody at the Belgrade Special Court.
