Cycling race "Tour de Serbie" ceremonially opened

Serbian Minister of Culture Predrag Markovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Goran Petkovic, and Mayor of Ruma ( northwestern Serbia) Goran Vukovic ceremonially opened the 51st international cycling race “Tour de Serbie”.

Serbian Minister of Culture Predrag Markovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Goran Petkovic, and Mayor of Ruma ( northwestern Serbia) Goran Vukovic ceremonially opened the 51st international cycling race “Tour de Serbie”.

Besides numerous citizens, the ceremonial opening at the city square was also attended by head of the organizing team Ljubomir Zivanovic and sports director Aleksandar Milenkovic.

The 2011 “Tour de Serbie”, which will be held from June 13-19, will host 102 cyclists from 16 countries, grouped in 18 teams. Its final stage finishes in Belgrade.
