The price of fuel on petrol stations of the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) has risen as of Wednesday due to the harmonization of excise duties on oil derivatives and the government's decision, according to which excise duties for those derivatives will increase to the upper limit, Tanjug was told in NIS.

The wholesale and retail price of BMB95 fuel, the most used type of fuel in the Serbian market, was increased by RSD 1, as the excise duty increased by RSD 4.5.

The retail price of diesel fuel D2 has also proportionally increased by RSD 2, whereas the wholesale price rose by RSD 1.
