The EUR 6 million worth of jewelry from the collection of former first lady of Argentina Eva Peron, which was stolen two years ago in Spain, was found in a room of a luxury hotel in Milan (Italy), rented by the members of a criminal group from Serbia, the Italian police stated Wednesday evening.

The room's occupants are on the run, and they are members of a criminal group from Serbia who lived outside Milan, Lieutenant-Colonel Antonino Bolognani stated at a news conference.
After several months of investigation conducted by the Spanish and Italian police, six members of the criminal group were arrested in Spain in May 2010, and one in Milan.
