About 50 employees of the Belgrade based Partizanski Put construction company, which operates as part of the Nibens Group, continued their protest outside the Privatization Agency on Monday demanding the annulment of the company's sale contract.

About 50 employees of the Belgrade based Partizanski Put construction company, which operates as part of the Nibens Group, continued their protest outside the Privatization Agency on Monday demanding the annulment of the company's sale contract.

Workers fear that the company could go into bankruptcy soon, because its account will have been frozen for 2 years come July 23.

Head of the company's autonomous trade union Vesna Cikaric told Tanjug the protest would last until 1 p.m. and that there would be a protest walk from the agency to the government headquarters.

Employees' demands remain the same, which is to annul the contract with the Nibens Group and pay the seven salaries that have not been paid out yet, Cikaric stated.

Around 100 employees protested Friday as well, demanding the same things.

Nibens Group owner Milo Djuraskovic and seven of the group's managers were arrested in May on suspicion of stealing EUR 32 million from a lubricant company based in Krusevac, central Serbia.
