Carnival and Beer Fest to be staged in Vrnjacka Banja in July

The seventh carnival in Vrnjacka Banja, the most famous spa in Serbia, will be held in July, and the second Beer Fest from July 1-3 will be staged as an introduction to carnival days, the organizers announced.

Head of the Tourist Organization of Vrnjacka Banja Nikica Pantovic said Tuesday at a press conference held in Belgrade, that “the carnival of friendship”is expected to host carnival groups from regional countries and around 250,000 people from July 10-17.
The central events of this year's carnival in Vrnjacka Banja will be a children's parade on July 13, and the main parade three days after that.
During this carnival, 60 other manifestations will be held, so tourists will have an opportunity to see a children's masquerade, street plays, street football, acrobatic performances.
In the carnival days, Vrnjacka Banja will organize a humanitarian concert in support of women who suffer from cancer, as well as performances of popular musicians.
At this year's festival, the Roman Days dubbed “Veni Vidi Vrnjci” will be held for the first time, with the aim of presenting centuries-old tradition of this spa which was famous for its balmy waters even in ancient times.
