In a breakthrough at yesterday’s fifth round of talks, negotiators agreed to enable the free movement of people across the contentious border, resolve problems caused by Serbia holding onto civil registries, and to mutually recognise university diplomas, the source said.
The fifth round of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue has commenced in Brussels yesterday, in expectation of first concrete results of these talks, which have started in early March, with the mediation of the EU.
The negotiators met in an informal dialogue chaired by top EU diplomat Robert Cooper.
