Kalanovic, South Korea's Yura to sign contract for new plant

After successful construction projects in Raca and Nis, Yura is interested in expanding their production in Serbia to keep track with the development of its key customers – KIA and Hyundai.
Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Regional Development Verica Kalanovic will sign with South Korea's Yura an agreement to build a new factory in Leskovac, the company’s fourth plant in Serbia, on 7 July, at 12.30, in the City Hall of Leskovac, Pana Djukica 9-11.
After successful construction projects in Raca and Nis, Yura is interested in expanding their production in Serbia to keep track with the development of its key customers – KIA and Hyundai.
The company plans to invest €13 million in Leskovac and to employ 1,500 workers.
The corporation is divided into three divisions: Yura Harness (cable installation), Yura Eltec (cables and components installation), Yura Tech (spark plugs and coils). The largest of these, Yura Harness, has factories in Serbia.
