Israeli ambassador opens exhibition of photos depicting Israel's scenery

Israeli Ambassador to Serbia Arthur Koll opened an exhibition of photos depicting Israel's nature and landscapes, which were taken by photographer Shai Ginott, in the lobby of Belgrade's Hotel Continental on Wednesday.

Israeli Ambassador to Serbia Arthur Koll opened an exhibition of photos depicting Israel's nature and landscapes, which were taken by photographer Shai Ginott, in the lobby of Belgrade's Hotel Continental on Wednesday.

The exhibition is part of the cultural and tourist campaign aimed at promoting Israel's beauties and variety of its scenery, Koll said and noted that Israel is an exceptional meeting-place of three continents, namely Africa, Asia and Europe.

Over the next three weeks, Belgrade viewers will have a chance to see the large-scale photos depicting snowy mountain ridges and rivers to the north of Israel, the Mediterranean to the west, River Jordan and the Dead Sea to the east and the vast desert expanse to the south of the country.

During the talks following the exhibition opening, Ambassador Koll told Tanjug that cultural cooperation between Israel and Serbia is excellent.

He underscored that Israel participated in many activities in the area of Serbia's cultural life, such as film and music festivals, contemporary dance festival and the annual Belgrade Book Fair.
