EU Facilitator for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Robert Cooper will arrive in Belgrade Thursday evening, Tanjug learned from diplomatic sources in Brussels Tuesday.

During his stay, Cooper will have talks with Head of the Belgrade negotiating team Borislav Stefanovic and Minister for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Goran Bogdanovic, said a European diplomat who preferred to remain anonymous. The agenda also envisages a meeting with Interior Minister Ivica Dacic.

Although Cooper's main goal will be the continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, he is ready to discuss the tensions in the north of KiM, said a diplomat who is thoroughly familiar with the course of the dialogue until now.

The Belgrade-Pristina dialogue was prolonged early October, following the clashes between Serbs and KFOR troops at the Jarinje administrative crossing, in which 7 Serbs and 4 soldiers were injured.

The Belgrade negotiating team insists that, prior to the resumption of the dialogue, the situation at the administrative crossings be addressed.
