Dinar to weaken by 0.2 percent

The Serbian national currency will weaken by 21 paras or by 0.2 percent Monday, setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 103.2720 per euro, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has said in a release.

During the weekend, the valid exchange rate was that of Friday, December 23, with one euro worth RSD 103.0624.
On a monthly basis, the dinar will today get stronger by 0.1 percent, and by 1.8 percent on a year-to-year basis.
This year, the dinar was the strongest on May 23, with the middle exchange rate at RSD 96.7007 per euro, and the weakest on January 6, when one euro was worth RSD 106.4947.
On Friday, the indicative exchange rate of the dinar against the U.S. dollar was RSD 79.2267 per one unit of that currency, a drop by 0.5 compared to the day before.
On a month-to-month basis, the dinar weakened against the dollar by 1.9 percent, while improving by 1.1 percent on a yearly basis, the NBS said.
