Head of Self-Determination Aljbin Kurti said on Monday the agreement on Kosovo's regional representation had been signed to allow Serbia to get the status of a candidate for EU membership.
Kurti appeared on KTV criticizing the Kosovo government and Prime Minister Hasim Taci and saying that the agreement was Taci's and not Kosovo's, which is why Self-Determination wanted it annulled.
In the meantime, around 1,000 people, mostly members and sympathizers of Self-Determination, continued their protest outside the government headquarters, blocking the entrances.
The Kosovo police has labelled the protest illegal and said that it has been peaceful, with no major incidents.
The protesters have been chanting against the government, Taci and Resolution 1244, demanding that the agreement on Kosovo's regional representation be rescinded.
Kurti stated that members of his movement had collected 15 signatures by parliament members and delivered a petition with 15,000 signatures asking for an emergency meeting of the parliament.
According to earlier reports by media in Pristina, the parliament authorities denied the request.
Parliament Speaker Jakup Krasnici said the president, prime minister and 40 members of the parliament can request an emergency meeting, KTV reported.
