Dialogue between delegations of Kosovo, will not resume before the parliamentary elections in Serbia, expected to be held in May,  Robert Cooper said in an interview for the Pristina-based daily Zeri, which hit the newsstands on Monday.

Dialogue between delegations of Kosovo, led by Deputy Prime Minister Edita Tahiri, and Serbia, led by Borislav Stefanovic, will not resume before the parliamentary elections in Serbia, expected to be held in May, advisor serving as a Counsellor in the European External Action Service, British diplomat Robert Cooper, said in an interview for the Pristina-based daily Zeri, which hit the newsstands on Monday.

Cooper recalled that Pristina-Belgrade dialogue was also discontinued during the elections in Kosovo, Hina news agency reported.

After breaking off dialogue in March 2011, Serbia and Kosovo resumed talks and last Friday they harmonised an agreement on regional cooperation as part of a dialogue through which the two countries strive to normalise relations.

According to Zeri, the agreement has paved the way for both Serbia and Kosovo to European associations.
