Pensioners/employees ratio reaches 1,05 – 1

The ratio between the registered number of employees and the total number of pensioners was 1.05 - 1 in February 2012, and the average pension was 54,4 percent of the average net salary, the Ministry of Finance released Monday.

The average pension in the period January-February 2012 totaled RSD 21,766 and has increased by 1.6 percent in real terms compared to the same period in 2011.
Observed in euros, the average pension in the period January-February 2012 was EUR 204, the Public Finance Bulletin for February reads.
The total number of pension users in February 2012 compared to the same month of 2011 increased by 0.7 percent.
