All 29 miners who have spent 24 hours trapped in a flooded coal mine in southwest China were brought to the surface early Monday.
Experts say pumps at the mine in Sichuan Province drained an estimated 4,000 cubic metres of water to make the rescue mission possible.
Officials said that 41 workers have been underground when it flooded, but 13 managed to escape by themselves.
