Germany is covered with snow and sub-zero temperatures. The country is faced with hundreds of car accidents every day, and some schools are closed, many buses, trains and planes are delayed or cancelled.

Germany is covered with snow and sub-zero temperatures. The country is faced with hundreds of car accidents every day, and some schools are closed, many buses, trains and planes are delayed or cancelled.

Country’s meteorology survey announced new cold waves and snow in western part of the country. Bavaria, Mecklenburg and Tiringia are especially severely hit.

Winter services are working in the streets, and police is warning the people they should take good care while driving, and the fact that winter tyres are mandatory for all vehicles from December 1.

Agencies report that winter tyre warehouses are almost emptied and inform that there is a great demand for them.
