Statement on the “PayPal” website said: "PayPal has permanently restricted the account used by WikiLeaks due to a violation of the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy, which states that our payment service cannot be used for any activities that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity. We've notified the account holder of this action", BBC reported.

Online payment service “PayPal” stated on Saturday it has suspended the WikiLeaks' account that the organization used to collect donations, after the release of around 250,000 secret American diplomatic cables, which caused agitation of many governments, politicians, bankers and businessmen.

That is not the first company to deny their services to “WikiLeaks”, whose founder is Australian born Julian Assange.

A few days ago, “WikiLeaks” was forced to start using Swiss domain, after the company EveryDNS, that provides domain names, cancelled domain wikileaks.org, due to, as they stated, a huge number of attacks which threatened to jeopardize the rest of the network, agency AP reports.

The statement said that the service to “WikiLeaks” was revoked because they violated a provision according to which a user should not prevent other users from accessing webs site’s services.

On Wednesday, company “Amazon” also revoked their services to “WikiLeaks”, because they have, according to the statement, violated terms of services usage, among which are ownership over the copyrights of a published content and the guarantee that innocent people will not be endangered using of that content.
